Dear Champions,

Thanks so much for supporting me in the Special Olympics Florida Race for Inclusion!

Special Olympics means the world to me. I love being a part of the team and competing. My participation includes: Powerlifting, Football, Swimming, Softball, Basketball, Bowling and Golf. Fitting these in time wise over the years has been challenging, but every coach and athlete are always encouraging.

My favorite part is seeing all my friends at practices.The ultimate thing for me is going to Orlando (my favorite place) and the ESPN center for Florida Special Olympics finals.We get to travel on a bus and spend the night, get meals, compete and then a party time dance in the evening. You know I've got the moves.

Everything is always free for participants. Parents/family/caregivers are not required to pay for any event. Hopefully, with the donations received, many more of my friends can participate.

You’re helping me create communities of acceptance and inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities (ID) all across the state. Special Olympics Florida serves more than 70,000 athletes with ID, providing sports programs, health screenings, and leadership training.

Its mission is to ensure people with ID receive the respect and opportunities they deserve. Your generosity makes that possible and helps Special Olympics athletes live richer, fuller lives.
