I have been involved with Special Olympics for over 5 years now, and I am continually amazed by the work of this organization - both at the University of Florida, and back home in Colorado.

Special Olympics Florida serves almost 60,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities, providing sports programs, health screenings, and leadership training. Its mission is to ensure people with intellectual disabilities receive the respect and opportunities they deserve.
