Join Team Lakesha Burton, In memory of Latesha Wright
I’m thrilled to tell you I’ll be serving as Master of Ceremonies for Special Olympics Florida’s Race for Inclusion – Jacksonville! The Race for Inclusion is a 5K fundraiser to support the incredible athletes of Special Olympics Florida. It’s also a statewide movement to build communities of inclusion and acceptance for people with intellectual disabilities. Race for Inclusion – Jacksonville takes place on September 23 at the CSX downtown campus.
Special Olympics Florida has always been close to my heart.
My identical twin sister, Latesha, was my superhero. Latesha lived with Cerebral Palsy. Despite being told she could not live past her teenage years. She thrived until she was 44 years old. I race to honor my sister and help spread awareness about those who live with a disability. Join me in my mission to raise awareness and provide funding for those who live with a disability. Please register to join my team and help me fundraise to support Jacksonville’s Race for Inclusion.
Your generosity makes that possible and helps Special Olympics athletes live richer, fuller lives.
