My name is Erin Nowikowski and I am a Special Olympics athlete. My mom is helping me write this message. It's in red because that is my favorite color.

I love being an athlete. I get to ride my favorite horse Quinn in equestrian competitions. I also play basketball, go bowling, and run. My running partner is Ronda. She encourages me to cross the finish line. We ran the 5K race together at the State Games in Orlando in May. It was very very hot. But we did it and I am so proud of myself! I am proud of her too.
