Thank you for joining our efforts to raise funds for Special Olympics Florida - Race for Inclusion!

We are raising funds in honor and celebration of John McDonald, a beloved Special Athlete, gifted human, and the best brother ever, who walked on from this world in December 2020.

A man of many nicknames – Brother, Partner, Dude Man – John lived above all, as a lover of life: of people and parties, sports, Uno championships, bowling, root beer, and golf. For over two decades he was a Special Olympics athlete in track and field, softball, and golf and a cherished Special League Bowling teammate.

John would be so proud to participate in this race and to have each and every one of you helping us to create communities of acceptance and inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities (ID).

Join us in the Inclusion Revolution! Together let’s fight the stigma, isolation, injustices, and health challenges faced by people with intellectual disabilities.

Let’s celebrate John and carry on his legacy of love for all humans and his spirited passion for the games.
