We are raising funds in honor and celebration of John McDonald, a beloved Special Athlete, gifted human, and the best brother ever, who walked on from this world in December 2020.

A man of many nicknames – Brother, Partner, Dude Man – John lived above all, as a lover of life: of people and parties, sports, Uno championships, bowling, root beer, and golf. For over two decades he was a Special Olympics athlete in track and field, softball, and golf, as well as a cherished Special League Bowling teammate.

John would be so excited to participate in this race and to have each and every one of you joining us in building a world of acceptance and inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities (ID).
