Hello everyone!

As you all know Special Olympics Florida has been a part of my life for 10 years! They have become my second family. I have learned how to be a team player, how to celebrate victory and be brave in the attempt always! I have gotten so many amazing experiences and opportunities from SOFL like, giving Tim Tebow his first surf lesson, going to DC on Capitol HIll Day to lobby for funds for Unified Champion Schools and inclusive health for special needs athletes! My first flight, first time leaving Florida and first time seeing snow were all with Special Olympics Florida! Mr. Sallarulo has been raising funds for Broward County for 20 YEARS! This year I donated a painting of mountains in honor of my friend and fellow ski teammate, Keith Rebarber, who we sadly lost this year. I didn't know it, but he loved the mountains the most! I guess he was speaking to me when I was painting it! But we still need help raising funds for the athletes! If you ever help me raise funds, let it be now! ALL trips and sports experiences for ALL athletes are free to them and their families because of donations and fundraisers like this one! Your donation, no matter how big or small, will change lives! I am now an Athlete Leader Chair for my county, Health Messenger, Athlete Leadership Council Co-Chair for Community Outreach, and a Global Messenger! This was all made possible by programming that has been completely free to my family. I have learned so much about leadership, advocating for myself and for those who can't speak for themselves. One day I hope to work for SOFL and continue to make Special Olympics Florida grow and excel! Please consider donating to this cause!
