The Edgewater Police Department is proud to host and participate in the Law Enforcement Torch Run in support of Special Olympics Florida an initiative that reflects our unwavering commitment to service, inclusion, and community partnership. Our Officers are dedicated not only to protecting and serving, but also to showing up for the individuals and families who make our community strong. Through our participation, we aim to raise awareness, foster unity, and demonstrate that Law Enforcement stands alongside our residents in support of meaningful causes. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this event will go directly to Special Olympics Florida, helping provide opportunities, resources, and support for the athletes it serves. T-shirts and challenge coins will be available for purchase in the lobby of the Edgewater Police Department and on the day of the event, and donations are greatly appreciated to further support this mission. We invite the community to come out, join the run alongside the Edgewater Police Department and fellow law enforcement, and enjoy food from our local food trucks while supporting an incredible cause. This event represents the heart of our profession: professionalism, compassion, and a shared responsibility to uplift and empower those we serve.
