Hi! My name is Shaun Hawk and I am a Special Olympics Unified Partner. I have been volunteering with Special Olympics for 15 years now and this is my 12th year participating in the Polar Plunge. I have joined the Special Olympics Leon County Polar Plunge team, The Capital City Chillers. I am ready to “TAKE THE PLUNGE” again this year. The plunge takes place 02/12/2021 at Aquatica where a lot of warm-hearted people will plunge to support Special Olympics.

The cold that we will experience is only temporary but the positive impact this will have on the lives of thousands of children and adults with disabilities will last a lifetime!

I set a goal of $2000 and I need your help to reach it. I am not asking you to take the plunge alongside of my teammates; I am asking you for a donation to Special Olympics Florida to support the 2021 Special Olympics Florida Polar Plunge. Any amount is appreciated- it all goes to a wonderful cause and every little bit gets me that much closer to my goal.
