Welcome to My Fundraising Portal!
Hello! as-Salamu 'Alaykum
Every year I get really excited as I try to raise funds to sponsor athletes like myself. However, things have been difficult for Special Olympics athletes in the last 1.5 years. But there is hope on the horizon.
After being at home for seventeen months due to safety concerns about the COVID-19 virus, we athletes are slowly getting back into the swing of things. We are back on the field, exercising, having fun, and meeting our friends and coaches after a loooooong time, and trying to do so in a safe way.
The 5K Race for Inclusion is now a statewide competition. Our Miami-Dade County race will be held on November 18th, 2021. Mark your calendars!
Every year I enjoy raising funds to support my fellow Special Olympic Athletes and this November I want to invite you to help me raise $2000.00. This will go towards equipment, state games, transportation etc. and other services that Special Olympics provides their athletes free of charge. Many of our athletes would not be able to participate without that financial support.
Please click DONATE NOW to make a quick, secure online donation, for my participation in Race for Inclusion 5K! You can even post a note on my page to cheer me on! If you prefer to give by check, please mail your donation to the address below and be sure to add a note with my name and “Race for Inclusion 5K” so it gets credited to my page. Please remember to ask your employer if they will match your donation.

More About Me
Special Olympics is a great part of my life; every day I have something to do. I participate in basketball, track & field, golf, swimming, stand up paddling and flag football. If I work hard in each of these sports and I qualify, I get to attend the State Games and compete with other athletes from all over our state, with a chance to bring home the gold, silver or bronze medal for my county. Apart from the competitions, I’m a Special Olympics Athlete Leader. I’m learning leadership skills that will teach me to advocate for myself and others, be confident and speak in public about Special Olympics on topics that are important to us. I know how happy I am being a special Olympic athlete and I want that for others, so they can get off the sofa and come out meet new friends, participate in community events, and learn new things.
